Description

Become a certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapist and establish yourself as a go-to trauma therapist with the confidence and ability to navigate the most complex cases.

SPI’s Certification training provides the opportunity for students to hone their SP trauma skills, maps, and techniques, and become certified in the method. It is open to graduates of the Level 2 Developmental training.  

Throughout the training, trainers and staff members work intimately with students to coach students on SP’s approach to the treatment of trauma, the treatment of developmental and relational injury, and the integration of these two injuries. Students focus on integrating SP foundations and maps with skills and techniques through practice exercises. Written materials, such as a Level 3 manual, study guides, and session analysis guides along with short talks by SPI’s founder, senior trainers, and client session excerpts provide structure and guidance for these exercises. Beyond demonstrating proficiency in SP skills and techniques, students are encouraged to reflect on their embodiment of the SP foundations and principles throughout their practice sessions.

The training consists of 117 hours of live learning and 65 hours of self-paced learning for a total of 182 hours. 97.5 hours of CE credit are available for this training and 182 hours toward CPD.
